[SOLD] K20 water damage sale (Worldwide)

Okay, I got stupid and fell into a swimming pool with my K20 while walking and shooting with my new Tamron 17-50. Both are ruined. The wife has put an embargo on new DSLR for a while, so I'm going to using my old Panasonic point and shoot for casual snapshots but it's an ill wind that blows no good, so I've got the following for sale. I'd like to sell this as a package and avoid multiple shipping charges, etc.

$100 K20 grab bag: unusable water damaged K20 body (parts?) in nearly new box with all cables, manual, caps, battery charger etc
+ undamaged Pentax O-ME D-L/50 battery not in the "pool" camera
+ undamaged Pentax O-ME53 Magnifying Eyecup
+ undamaged KatzEye split prism screen plus O-EM screen

$200 K20 "grab bag" above with 2 included lenses:
+ Takumar Bayonet 135mm f/2.8 good condition, no fungus, blades clean and snappy, lens caps (separately $65 plus shipping)
+ Pentax A 50mm f/1.7 good condition, no fungus, blades clean and snappy, lens caps Hoya NDX4 (separately $75 plus shipping)

PAYMENT:
PAYPAL ONLY
SHIPPING: PACKAGE SHIPPING VIA USPS INCLUDED IN CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY; ADDITIONAL SHIPPING TO OUTSIDE U.S. PAID BY BUYER; SEPARATE ITEMS BUYER PAYS SHIPPING

ALL ITEMS SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS

Something to try first

I have a suggestion before you give up and get rid of it.

Take the camera, remove the battery, and completely submerge it in distilled water for a couple hours, remove it, replace the water with fresh distilled, and then allow it to dry out for several days. Generally, the water is not the problem, but the solids left after it dries. Distilled water should have essentially no solids, and may save you the replacement cost of the camera. I have personally tried this on a point and shoot (car was broken into, and thieves thought it would be funny to throw camera in a nearby stream... I know they were obviously idiots). Anyways, the camera worked perfectly afterwards for a couple years.

Cheers,

Jake

I'll add to this tip, don't airdry the camera but put it in a closed container with a few kilograms of (dry) rice for a week. The rice will work as a dessicant and aid in quickly removing all moisture.

Kryosphinx,
Just to make sure you understand the condition, the Tamron is water logged and not useable as is. Tamron Service quoted $300 + parts to repair; but if you want it for "parts," make an offer,
Brian

klh,
this is a basic KatzEye split-collar screen for the K10/K20... no Optibrite, no grid lines, no Pentax lines,
Brian

cmv, I'm waiting on confirmation of a package sale; if that falls through, I'll start selling the individual items and I'll get back to you on the screen,
Brian
