Item Description
In general, the Pentax A-series 24mm is an underrated gem of a lens. This particular copy is in fair condition, with the biggest issue being approximately four areas of cleaning marks/coating scratches, the largest of which is about 3-4mm long (you can probably see it in the first picture). The scratches were on the lens when I bought it, and as far as I can tell, they have no impact on IQ. There is also some minor paint loss, primarily on the aperture ring. Mechanically, this lens is flawless. No fungus, oil, hazing, etc.

I have used this lens for about 5 years, and taken some of my favorite shots with this lens.

I have an M version of this lens (same optics). It's very sharp with beautiful colors and contrast. For my kids sport team group pictures there is no better glass available.

There are approximately four or five areas with scratching (circled in Picture 1). The scratch in the center appears to be the only one through the coating.

And yes, I know I have welded dust on my camera sensor.
