I have one of these, and there is no way that I would part with it. Really nice lens!

I'd consider reacquiring an AF 24-135 if you'd be interested in a swap for some or all of your asking price.

I've got some older 'classic' Pentax glass, e.g., M-42 55/1.8 or /2.0,

SMC-M 50/2.0 or /1.4, 200/4, 135/3.5, ,

Takumar (Bay) 135/2.5, 70-200/4.0

SMC-A 35-70/4.0, 35-80/4~5.6

Sigma AF 24-70/3.5-5.6 Asp

Tamron AF 28-200/ 3.8~5.6 LD Asp,

Various Tamron Adaptall lenses

A coupl'a Mamiya M645 film bodies/lenses

See my PF profile stats.

Good call, Hank. I think I'd miss it too even though I haven't been shooting much with it lately.

A very good walkabout lens on bright days, and an exceptional portrait lens in the studio.

Sorry, I am in need of some money at the moment. I am feeling very bad to part with this lens, but my financial situation forces me to let go this lens. Only looking to sell. Thanks Pacerr and EsBee for the nice words. Actually, I am surprised a very versatile walkaround lens with close to 6 yrs warranty is not picked up by someone.

I confess to being tempted...but I'm still battling guilt from some other purchases. And I'm only an hour from Philly!

In case you are wondering, this is probably how it would look on your 100D, which is somewhat similar to the *ist DS that I have...
