I might be wrong, but in that case the aperture would be....14,2? That means you don't have any advantage in carrying such great lens around for a day.

Anyway, I'm dreaming too. It's on my wish list. Or maybe the FA Star, or a new model.....

300mm + 2X + 1.7X (+1.4X?)!! too long
the lens work fine +1.7X or 1.4X +1.7X or 1.4x+2X

follow the F and mm you need

I use mine mainly with the 1.7x teleconverter.
Focus is pretty quick with this combo.

Suprised the lens is still here after all this time.

Well, with this economy and lots of unemployment, money is getting hard to get.
