Item Description
Rikenon 55mm F1.4 (MIJ), no caps - $55.00 OBO -

Sigma APO 400mm F5.6 with rear press-on cap and op/tech stretch cap for the front - $65.00 OBO -

Unfortunately this lens has seen much better days. Before I go on with the bad, I will state this lens is still capable of taking some great photographs, examples are below (primarily taken with a Panasonic GF1).

I acquired it in this poor/damaged condition (would never do this to a lens!). The front and rear elements are in good to excellent condition, unfortunately on one or more of the internal elements there are clear signs of haze/fungus (only seen by shining a light through the lens). Cosmetically, it looks as though it was hung on the outside of a backpack for many rough trips in the outdoors.

This used to be an AF lens, but the previous owner destroyed the screwdrive mechanism (it is chewed flat); the AF focus ring is also relatively loose (not ideal, but makes single finger operation easy).

It also used to be an A lens, but the aperture now only functions as an M type lens. It also does not fully open - it stops down properly at f7.1, f8 and smaller (does half stops), but it does not fully open to f5.6, and is likely about f6.3 at it's fullest aperture.

If you would like to see more photos of the lens itself, or have any questions about either lens, please ask!

I would just like to say that the Rikenon 55 1.4 is a fantastic lens and can really produce some fine results. As well, this is quite a good price for this lens in this condition. Mine is a little bit rougher, but still performs beautifully.

Good luck with the sale, I'm certain any buyer would be satisfied with such a nice piece of glass.

Thanks for the post! I would hold onto it, but don't have the adapter for either K mount or to use on my micro 4/3 camera (and I also have several fast 50s already) - it certainly is an intriguing lens! PM has been replied to magicshi.

For any interested international buyers, I will give a $10 discount for each lens toward shipping - if both are purchased together, the total int'l price will be $160.00, shipping included via Express mail int'l, insured.

Bump, reasonable offers will be considered! Note, the above samples at the baseball game were taken from out in the right field bleachers, on a camera that doesn't have SR (panasonic GF1).
