I am selling a well-loved Pentax MX. This is a beauty of a camera! It has been well taken care of. It is one of Pentax's premier all-manual cameras.
This is the LATE MODEL MX, denoted by the plastic film holder on the back. ISO 32-1600. It dates from the late 80's. It has a beautiful viewfinder - the first time I looked through it, I knew I couldn't go back to digital!!!
This camera has seen very little use. I would rate it as "Excellent" if it were not for very minor scratches on the baseplate. Cosmetically the camera shows signs you'd expect from someone who really took care of their equipment.
The camera is fully functional. I have put around 30 rolls of film through it. There are no visible light leaks. All light seals appear to be intact. There is no corrosion in the battery compartment. The shutter functions at all speeds. The light meter works and is accurate compared to my K10D (within 1/2 stop). As far as I know this camera has not had a CLA recently.
