I think this lens looks Like New, but I don't have the box so it is rated as Excellent. Comes with a matching hard case made for the lesser known Ricoh variant of it. The case has an almost like-new shine with a few faint marks on it. Front and rear caps also are Like New and look like they came with it, but I don't know for sure if they're original since they don't say "Vivitar" on them.
This model is the same Series 1 lens that has been seen in some other Marketplace listings recently. It has the A setting for auto aperture plus a very convenient built-in hood. As far as I'm aware, no other variant of this highly regarded Kiron lens is this fast. This one is f/2.5 (actually, f/2.4 according to a Pentax DSLR in Av mode). All other models I've seen are f/2.8, and some don't even have the A setting. The wider aperture gives you even more of its nicely colored out-of-focus background and foreground blur when you want it.
I'm selling this to help make some other needed changes to my kit. I'll probably end up again getting a 100 or 105mm macro lens down the road.
