K10D brand new can be found for around $600 after rebate, so you should consider today's prices, not the prices when you bought it (of course if I bought something at $900+, I would feel bad about offers like $600 or $500 but that's how electronics are nowadays).

Agreed. If I sell something, I'm aware that they buyer doesn't care how much I paid for it, only what they could get it for elsewhere.

Doing a little market research is important when putting something up for sale. I always pretend I'm a buyer looking for the best deal, especially the best new prices currently out there. Because face it, no one's going to buy something used for nearly the same price they could buy it new.

THis happens way too often, people expecting 90% return on electronics. Not gonna happen.

I know I am nobody here on this site but someone needs to say this so....
I notice people are getting more rude on the market posts. Perhaps everyone needs to check the rules of posting once more. If you have no interest in buying than posting is not something you should be doing. Private messages are the proper place to make lower offers and such.
This behavior is bellow you peeps so please be curtious and follow the rules.

Very well said and I very much agree. We are losing the friendly environment that I enjoy so much. I sometimes want to speak out on on the market place when someone posts "FS" and has outrages prices or thier first post is and most following posts are "FS" items. Maybe a rule of no market place posts until you have a minimum of 25 posts in other areas. Just a thought.
