Item Description
Up for sale is a Pentax DA14 in excellent condition, comes with box, pouch, and lens hood.

There are only a few minor scruffs on the hood. The glass is clean and the aperture is snappy. If you can't get a DA15Ltd, this is the next best thing, also sporting a metal body and just as sharp at f4 and opens to f2.8.

sharp with 0.17m minimum focusing distance for some dynamic close ups!

That 2nd photo is a 100% crop from the mirror photo shot (3rd photo) with DA14 + Pentax KX + flash at f2.8

It may be getting competition from the 15, which is significantly smaller, though slower, and has a long thread dedicated to it.

If I had not recently splurged on 4 Limiteds, this one would surely be tempting.

Plus 1 on this being a great lens. it was my first purchase when i went digital. the FOV is great and the lens performs very well. If it were to be released today it would likely be classed a DA* (this designation did not exist then)IMHO

I'm very tempted too but...

I'd would of purchased this lens as soon as it was posted if I didn't already have a DA 12-24mm f4, I'm sorta stuck with it
because of cosmetic issues (dropped lens/but optics performs great) that would too greatly reduce it's market value.

That f2.8 aperture would be very helpful for my nightime shots but I've decided that f4 will have to do..
