Hi,

I got this M 50mm f1.4 about a year ago from this marketplace. As per condition key it is between Good and Excellent. Rated Good to be on the safe side. Very minor dust inside. Works properly.

Hello,

That is a yes in all 3.
- It is still available.
- The 50mm is a good focal lenght for general portraiture and the 1.4 max aperture will give you a lot of control over DOF.
- This lens can be used in the Kx. Just be aware it is manual focus and aperture is set in the lens, not in the camera.

I'm pretty sure many other Pentax-shooters have done something similar as well, but I own multiple copies of this very lens. It's just a wonderful lens to use.

At f1.4 it's fairly sharp, though the depth is really thin and can be challenging. Stop it down to f2 or lower and the sharpness is just unbelievable, and the color contrast just pops out.

I'll show a few shots I took just two or three days ago. White balanced was all I did on them.
