[SOLD] FS: MZ-S, 31mm, 77mm, 400mm, PZ-10

Hello all,

I am selling a good chunk of my Pentax Film gear, and pretty much keeping in line with my m42 spotmatic stuffs. I just like that camera a bit better, and this money is going to get me a new Fuji GX680 III, to replace my older GX680 I.

So, to start the list:

Pentax MZ-S with grip. Like new in almost every way, with a year and a half left on the extended warranty. This is the best Pentax film SLR, bar none. I even prefer it to my old PZ-1P, as it just feels better in the hands.

Pentax 31mm F/1.8 Limited. One hell of a good lens, black. Its just a beauty, but I still like the lower resolution on my 28mm SMC Takumar a bit better, even if it is an F/3.5 lens. SOLD

Pentax 77mm F/1.8 Limited. Also in black, and another of Pentax's finest glass. I just never really go past 50mm on on the small format cameras, so it barely gets used.

Tokina 400mm F/5.6. This is black, just so you know.... And its an A series Manual Focus lens. I got it for an airshow, and it has served me well in that extent, but again, I just never really go for telephoto lenses. I just like the look of wides a bit to much, I guess. You know, that whole third dimension thing.. Guess its why I stick with 4x5 for so much of my work.

Pentax PZ-10. Not really in line with the kit, but cheap, and will be the only camera I have that works with K mount lenses after all of this, so it just gets added to the kit. But its a beautiful little sucker, and works in Manual and Program modes, AF, non-crippled mount, and has full communication with A lenses.

For the whole kit, Im looking for $2200. I will pay for the Paypal portion, as long as the buyer picks up shipping.

Im not so much interested in splitting it all up at the moment, I would prefer to sell to someone looking to get a very very nice film kit that will function for practically any situation they may come across.

Thanks
Steven

Don't have enough money for the package. But if you are willing to break it up I am interested in either the 31mm or 77mm (and if I can convince my brother both).
Recently found that dealing within Canada is a lot easier since I don't have to worry about getting taxed or brokage fees when crossing the items cross the border.

If you decide to spilt it give me a buzz about the 400mm.

Cheers.

I'm also interested in either the 31 and the 77 if you want to split it up...

Otherwise I hope it sells quickly because that is some might fine gear you're selling!

If you're interested in splitting, I'm wondering how much you would want for the MZ-S?

Hello all,

I have replied to all PMs, and everyone who posted on the thread.

So far, I have buyers for the limiteds, with many many backups.

But I do need to sell the whole kit, not just those two lenses.

So, first priority goes to anyone wanting the whole kit.

As is, the individual prices are looking to be:

MZ-S with grip and warranty: $750

31mm Limited: $750

77mm Limited: $600

400mm Tokina: $150

PZ-10: $30

All prices are based on best offers I have gotten, outside of the 400mm and PZ-10. However, I do need to sell those as well.

Any offers?

(PS: as soon as those are gone, the rest looks accounted for, all set to go for my GX680!)

And as for why switching away from Pentax, which I have been asked a few times, I am not moving all my gear. I still have a few Spotmatics, which I tend to use more than my other gear just cause I like small cameras when using a small format. Makes things simple.

And as for my K10D, it is being sold locally. Sorry guys, but they are willing to pay more than anyone here would be...

Thanks!
Steven

31mm sold to SamC.

BTW, great guy to work with!

Also, realized my price on the 77mm is a bit high, I was unaware that the US rebates were back on again. So drop that one down to $550. It comes with box, caps, and the leather case. Anyone interested??

Still looking to sell it all, will split up now, but preference goes to anyone buying multiple items, its just easier.

No, I have a Domke bag that fits my GX680 I, so I have to assume it will fit the GX680 III. However, the newer body is just so much improved, and since I use it as a location version of my 4x5, it is quite a bit easier to set up, even if it does weigh that much more (About as much as my Sinar 8x10).

As for digital, nope. I am giving up the ghost on that one. I just do not like all the trade offs you have to give to allow for that slightly faster print time, and the much longer process of preparing them for long term storage.

Film is still king, all yea who have gone the way of the new wonderchild (Last comaprison I can make was when we got RC paper.... Look how that one turned out. Or trading in from Carbon and Gum prints to Silver Halide... Come now, we can do better than this.). At least, I think so. But then again, for many a digital printer is much cheaper than an enlarger and all the time that takes to print...

But for anyone wanting some proper film gear in the 35mm format, the MZ-S is a very nice camera. It does just about everything you can want, and has more features that you will ever need.

And these lenses are all quite good.

Also, I have a 14mm Sigma. If anyone wants it, just let me know, and I will be more than happy to entertain offers. Its the newest AF 14mm F/2.8, works on film and digital.

Thanks all for looking, and have a wonderful day!
Steven

Any offers?

I have already sold off my K10, 14mm, 31mm, 77mm, 400mm, 50mm Macro (The K one), PZ-30, Everything except my MZ-S. Once this is gone, I am all set to get a 60mm Lens for the GX680, or maybe an Oly OM kit, I have yet to decide between them.

Oh, and anyone wanting a FL-36 Flash Unit?

Thanks
Steven
