Item Description
I'm selling the rarest of the AF 50mm's that Pentax has made. This lens has got one of the highest scores on Photodo with a MTF-score of 4.6 : Camera Lens Search - Find Camera Lenses

The F 50mm has exceptional sharpness from f2 and is quite usable at f1.4.

The lens is near mint condition, the glass is clear, no oil on the blades and aperture is snappy.

Maybe I will regret I sold this lens later on but at the moment I'm saving for a K-5 and selling those lenses I use the least.

For buyers from the EU there also is a possibility to pay by banktransfer with IBAN/BIC.

Will keep the buyer updated about the tracking status when the package has been sent.

The optical formula is the same but some consider the F 50mm f1.4 sharper. I have not compared the F 50mm and FA 50mm f1.4 myself though.

One thing I know for sure the F-version is much rarer.

Wow, I'm not even sure I remember when I last saw it on the marketplace. It's a collector's item if nothing else.

Now, if only I had the money to start a collection...

It's sure is a collectors item and I know I will regret parting with it some day but I think this lens has better use with somebody in need for a fast 50mm.
