The 30 does not feel as wide as 28mm and is a better walk around from that point of view it is also a lot shorter and can fit in a Pentax eveready case for a LX which is nice for traveling as you can hang this from your shoulder under a jacket and nobody the wiser. Thank you for your comment. I never handled a K28/2. It is very rear and expensive. Wish I could steal one from somebody.
