[SOLD] Pentax FA* 300mm F2.8 (US/CAN)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax FA* 300mm F2.8

Asking Price
3500 CAD

SOLD$3250 (local sale with no shipping)

Item Location
Ontario, Canada

Item Description
For sale is a legendary and rare 300mm F2.8 lens.

I bought this from a fellow Pentax Forums member (cwood) a while back and it truly is a stunning lens to use. It pains me that I need to let this one go. Here is the marketplace link of the first sale https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/sold-items/53774-sale-%5Bsold%5D-pentax-f...mm-f2-8-a.html

I considered selling this lens once before, but backed out since I thought I would keep it. This time I am certain that the lens needs to be sold since it's not being used too much and I require additional funds at this time.

Mechanically the lens works fine. Focus limiter, AF/MF clutch, aperture ring, all tested OK.

Optically glass is free of scratches.

This lens comes with

Pentax 112mm protective filter
Lens Strap
Leather Lens Front cover
Metal lens Hood
Drop-in filter holder with filters
Carrying case

Shipping will be fully insured via Fedex.

The lens overall is in great condition with only minor cosmetic marks on the paint and some scuffs on the rubber of the lens hood. See pictures in the Flickr Set below.

I can't be responsible for any customs fees/taxes that may be incurred if this item is shipped to the US. You need to figure this out yourself.

Should've posted a month and a half ago before unloading all my Pentax gears... If you can hold it off for a few months, I might pick it up

Isn't it better to have two of each?:ugh: In case, one is lost, damaged or stolen. I try to keep two of each.

I've shot with one of these and they are spectacular... but icywarm... you'd have to sell about 4 Bigmas (at top dollar) to meet the price. LOL

That is no choice.
I will gladly make a set for this lens.
