Item Description
For sale a Asahi Takumar 50mm f4 1:1 preset macro lens. It's the only Asahi M42 50mm that goes to 1:1. You will need a M42-adapter to use this lens on a Pentax DSLR and can of course be used without adapter on older manual M42-bodies.

The lens is in fair condtion with some paint chips on the barrel. Also there is some oil on the blades. Moving the aperture is smooth and focussing is very smooth.

That's awesomely cool! Must be a mechanical marvel inside. I didn't realize anyone made a 50mm macro lens that could do that. Quick look shows Nikon's autofocus 55/2.8 macro can also do that.

I like the mutiple aperture indexes for bellows factor as well.

(But with both Pentax-M 50/4 and Pentax-A 50/2.8 lenses at home, this would be very hard to justify...)
