[SOLD] k20D body with repaired crack (US)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
k20D body with repaired crack

Asking Price
$280

Item Location
Mid Atlantic, USA

Item Description
Up for sale is my K20d body which works fine but has a crack on the corner of the bottom due to a fall from my hand in a gravel parking lot as I was unlocking my car. The camera is fine otherwise and I have glued it together. I removed the bottom to glue the crack and I got a little crazy glue smeared on the bottom also, the bottom could be replaced,or a grip put on, but it didn't bother me so I am selling it at a low price because of the damage. I checked photome and it has 22833 actuations. There are a couple dust flecks visible on the focus screen and the LCD looks scratch free. I would say it is in pretty good condition except for the crack on the corner. Box, strap, original and spare battery (maxell), Charger, software and manuals included. Shipping includes delivery confirmation.

test shots

I snapped off a couple in the back-yard to make double sure everything was still working today so the shutter count went up a couple.

Well, you were luckier than me! I knocked over my tripod with K20D on it last year; it was on the lowest setting, but the impact on tile floor still broke it. I just sold it for less than this, but that's because mine is actually broken - it still takes pictures, but apparently the main board is broken, and basically none of the manual features work, and you can't go to the menu.

Anyway, good luck with the sale!

I was bummed when my camera got dropped as it wasn't very old when it happened and I used it quite a while afterwards, but need a flash for my canon body so something has to go.I keep my camera money and family money separate.
