I have decided that I can't afford to keep these excellent primes and am looking to swap for a zoom.

A 20/2.8
I have had the A 20mm for several months and it is in excellent condition for a lens of this age. There are no blemishes on the glass, the aperture works like new and there is only very minor dust inside that I hadn't noticed until I inspected it for this sale. The exterior is in excellent shape with a couple of small scratches on the outside of the filter ring and very minor wear on the focus ring. I don't think it had been used very much at all before I bought it and I have only had it on the camera a few times. I paid over $500 for it and it comes with caps, leather carry case (original I think) with shoulder strap and the original box. It would go close to satisfying a collector.

FA*24/2
The FA*24mm has only been in my possession for a few weeks. I paid $500 for this which is a bit less than the going rate as the manual focus does not work. There are no other issues with the lens. Autofocus works perfectly, there are no scratches on the glass, I can see no dust traces inside and the aperture adjusts nicely. Externally there is some paint loss on the locators for the hood which can't be seen because it is under the hood when mounted. Cosmetically it is close to perfect with the silver paint work blemish free. It comes with both caps and the original hood.

Both lenses take excellent images so please check the review area and various threads for more info.
I can take some more images of either lens if required.

Wanted
In exchange for either of the beauties described above I would like either a Pentax FA 20-35/f4 zoom or DA 18-135/3.5-5.6 WR zoom. I am happy to do a direct swap with the FA*24 for a 18-135 in mint condition, any other trade combination would require some cash as well (or an additional lens - make an offer) from you.

I was looking for 20mm... But I just bought 55 and I don't know if I want to sell 43 for A20. Good luck with the trade though. If you won't sucseed, PM me. I'll give you web page of rputable uk shop happy to swap overseas that has 2 or 3 FA20-35 in stock...

FWIW - on the FA*24 have you remembered to move the focus ring forwards/backwards in order to switch from AF to MF? Remember, this must be done in addition to the switch on the body ... just a thought.

Just curious if you tried moving the focus ring as suggested in A Modest Mouse's post, or is the MF definitely not working?
