Yeah, I do have some friends who are quite resourceful w/ Pentax stuff

If only I could go to Tokyo myself, so I'd be able to get a FA*28-70 or evne the 80-200/2.8 at good prices there

There was plenty of FA 28-70, but it wasnt so cheap, around 110000-120000 yen. I actually saw an 80-200 for less than what the 28-70 was going for, I guess there was a difference in condition. I thought about getting the 80-200 but I am a prime shooter in the end and I think even the FA 100 is quite heavy so the zoom is a beast. Problem is those stores know what the stuff is worth, so its not that easy to find a bargain. but at least if you are willing to pay then the seletion is good. I cant believe what they charge for those 135 f1.8's though, deffinetley not worth it. But M* and A* is going for quite good prices now, except the 85 and 135.

Thanks for the info. I was searching high and low for an FA*28-70, ended up got one for around $1300 from China, and it's not even like new, but only in excellent condition!

Oh well, I'm happy that I finally got one though

As to these 2 TCs, I wouldn't have asked my friend to get them if some guys here didn't ask me to look for them

Oh well, if no one buys here, I'll just return to my friend, or list them on eBay -- where I haven't bothered selling anything for quite a while ...

Well, I've seen this TC went as high as 700 bucks on eBay, guess you did pretty okay there

It's a great TC, kinda pricey nowadays, but worth it if you really like it.

shipping cost to US:
1. Registered airmail letter: $20 (can't buy insurance w/ airmail letter)
2. Registered airmail parcel w/ insurance: $40
3. EMS: $40
4. EMS w/ insurance: $55

Other countries may vary but not by much.

Not to confuse anything, I'm not really interested, I was just wondering how much shipping would be.

At this point, I want to get another lens first. After that if you still have some available then I'll get in contact with you.

I've posted the shipping cost in the first post, and right above your post too

1.7X AF Teleconverter

Frank,

I did try to contact you to let me know if another 1.7x would be available after they last sold out, but guess you never received my message.

If still available this go around, please contact me.

Is this only usable with bayonet mount lenses?... I have a screwmount 85mm f1.4 I'd love to be able to AF with! Will it (and other screwmount lenses) work with this converter?

Thanks,

Nic

Sorry Nic, I think I might've missed your PM There were several guys contacted me to purchase this TC after the last sale, that's why my friend passed me these two. ...

This TC is for Pentax bayonet mount lenses. If you want to use it along with a screw mount lens, you need to put an M42 to K adapter on your lens first, then you can use this TC without any problem. And this TC would work great with a 85/1.4 lens as someone (Rupert) tested at DPR Pentax forum.

Currently there is one confirmed order (pending payment), only one left (unless the other buyer backs out). Please send me a PM to confirm the purchase, and the shipping option you prefer.

Please let me know ...
