SMC Pentax FA 1:2 (f2) 35mm lens




Item condition:

- Used.
- No fungus, clouding or haze on optics.
- No scratches on optics.
- No oil on aperture blades.
- All functions operate normally and smoothly.
- No visible scratches or dings on lens barrel.
- No visible rub marks.
- Very few dust particles inside the lens, but does not affect picture quality. (Normal for a used lens)

I would rate the overall condition of this lens as "Near Mint". Externally, the lens is in pristine condition with no obvious marks. The focus helicoid is smooth and the aperture ring clicks into position precisely. Optically, the lens is clean and clear with few dust specks, which will have no effect on the final image quality.

I have described the condition as accurately as possible. You MAY notice other small marks and scratches that I have considered to be insignificant, but please keep in mind that this item has been used and as such, bears the blemishes of its consequences.

This lens is suitable for all digital and 35mm film SLR cameras, which has a Pentax K-mount.

- The lens has automatic aperture (AE) and automatic focus (AF) capabilities.
- Filter size is 49mm.
- Dimensions: 64mm Diameter x 45mm Long.
- Weight: Approximately 195g.
- Made in Japan.
- This lens competes very well against the legendary FA Limited 31mm 1:1.9 lens in terms of its optical prowess, and yet it costs nearly HALF
the price. In fact, some people rate this lens higher and prefer it to the Limited 31mm for its compact size and better handling. When mated to
a DSLR with APS-C size sensor, it becomes close to the "standard" focal length (~52.5mm) making it ideal for everyday use.
