[SOLD] Tamron 01B Adaptall 24mm f2.5 (no mount) AE lens (Worldwide)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Tamron 01B Adaptall 24mm f2.5 (no mount) AE lens

Asking Price
$59

Item Location
Kearney, Nebraska

Item Description
Well-regarded Tamron Adaptall lens, being offered without adaptall mount. Adaptall mounts are available very reasonably on ebay. This is an AE lens, so if you have an PKA Adaptall mount, this is a Pentax- A equivalent lens. Works as an M lens with a standard PK adaptall mount. This is a Model 01B 24mm f2.5 lens.

A pretty in-depth (and rave) review:
Tamron 24mm f/2.5 Model 01B (Adaptall-2 system)

In good cosmetic, mechanical and optical shape. A *very useful* focal length on APS-C or full frame cameras, and faster than your average bear.

$7 shipping to the Continental U.S. and Canada. Will ship worldwide. Contact me for a shipping quote to your country (your choice, cheap or fast).

It's a bit odd to call this an "AE" lens, since all Adaptall-2 lenses have the "AE" mark at f32, and all are capable of being an "A" lens with the PK/A mount (or for that matter, any other AE system for which there is an AE-capable mount available).

That said, it's a great lens. I use mine frequently on my K5, with excellent results. I really like the 24mm focal length on APS-C.

The description was provided for those who are not (yet) familiar with the great Tamron Adaptall lenses of yesteryear. I do not assume that everyone knows the same things that I know.

EDIT: Have no email address to send Paypal invoice. As of right now, this lens is still available.
