For sale is a pentax k5 in like new condition. It was purchased new in late January 2011 and has 4175 shot on the shutter as of today. It has never had the back focus issues that I can tell and is in like new condition (aside from a little dust). On request i can supply a 'stain test' shot. I just took and inspected a shot pointed at a blank wall at f20 and see only a few normal dust blobs except for one very tiny spot that looks a little more solid than the rest, only a few pixels wide and a few pixels from the bottom of the image, visible only at extreme apertures on blank backgrounds. I cant tell if it is a 'stain' but i mention it in the interest of disclosure. It has never affected an image in the last 5 months of shooting and i did not realize it was there until tonight.
Original packing and all camera accessories (strap, battery, charger, etc..) are included.
Also going along with the camera is a used DA 16-45 f4 in decent condition. I am the 2nd owner of the lens, and while you can tell it has been used, everything is in perfect working order both optically and mechanically. The lens is a bonus, and if you want the camera separate the cost would be $1200. I love the camera, especially the high iso and dr of the sensor, but am planning to make a move to Nikon for the greater overall system options. If you are interested please PM.
