[SOLD] Excess 50mm, 40mm, 28mm & 300mm lenses for swapping, suggest something

I've acquired a few excess lenses which I really don't need or use, so if anyone has something vaguely interesting that they might like to swap for any of these please shoot me a mail. Not really looking to sell because with the exception of the pancake they probably cost more to post than to buy =)
  • 3x Pentax SMC-A 50mm f1.7 - all in fine nick, but since getting 50mm f1.2 I don't even need them for reverse use anymore so somewhat pointless keeping them
  • 1x Pentax SMC-M 40mm f2.8 pancake - never use it
  • 1x Pentax SMC-M 28mm f2.8 - I have the -A, don't need the -M
  • 1x Pentax SMC-M 80-200mm f4.5 zoom - given to me, but don't use or need it
  • 1x Tair M42 300mm f4.5 - don't use it since getting Sigma 150-500

A type lenses do not have auto focus. They are manual focus. F, FA, FA-J, DA, DA-L, DA*, etc are auto focus lenses. The lens you are pointing to is a different lens than the one NASS if offering.

Hello csm_web,

JeffJS is entirely correct, they are manual focus lenses. They look like this:

Tair M42 300mm f8

Google doesn't seem to think this exists, but it sounds interesting to me! Would you mind posting pictures or more information?

Good spot, I'm a pillock. It is, of course, the Tair 300mm 4.5. My bad, I'll edit the listing. Shows you how often I've used it recently.

I'd love a crack at the M40, but all my swaps are bricks: Sakar 28-200/4-5.6A (great optics but 800g!),
Rikenons 28-100/4 and 35-135/3.5-4.5, Vivitar 28-105/3.5-4.5A (also excellent) plus Rikenon 50s you don't need.
Hard to justify mailing a brick to England from Oregon, but if you're game so am I! Heck, take 'em all!

As a newbie to Pentax analog world, I really like to set my hand on the 28/2.8mm. But since I don't have anything to be offered, and I'm so far away here in southeast Asia,, seems like I'm out of the list. Good luck anyway.
