[SOLD] SP Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 Di LD(IF)macro - MINT condition (Worldwide)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
SP Tamron 70-200 2.8 Di LD(IF)macro - MINT condition

Asking Price
665

Item Location
Seattle, WA

Item Description

(I'm also selling: Selling my K-x ($450), my DA15 Ltd. ($450) and my DA(L) 35mm 2.4 ($155), all in excellent condition, plus a Marumi DHG CPL filter ($40). )
This 70-200 is in mint condition with nary a scratch. I'm the original owner and all packaging, pouch, bits & bobs are included. The glass is in pristine condition - no dust, no scratches, barrel is perfect (ha - thought there were marks....but they cleaned right off, now I feel foolish) there is a small notch in the hood. I purchased this lens last August to shoot a wedding, and it's an excellent copy, very sharp, lovely colors. See some sample shots from the lens below.

I hate to give up the 200mm reach, but you all know how it is when the pixie dust lust comes a'callin'! I'm selling it because I must have the FA77, lest I die. Obviously if you have an FA77 you're just desperate to get rid of and must have a Tammy 70-200 lest you die, I'll trade you + cash. However, as this is highly unlikely, I'll settle for dollars

Sample shots:

70mm f/4.5

200mm f/2.8

107.5mm f/8

200mm f/3.5

200mm f/2.8

200mm f/3.5

70mm f/3.2

You realize that with photos of the quality and variety you post you not *need* the FA77 to get any better?

Hi,
I'm interested in your lens.
Are you OK with local pick up? I live in Vancouver.

Aww, Aristophanes I'm touched at the compliment! Really - I'm largely shooting in the dark and have no sense of whether I'm actually any good. I'm just a photography junkie - I'd shoot if I was dreadful :P

For me this trade-up is largely about lens size. I have chronic neck injuries, and that 70-200 is a heavy lens, which means I'll only carry it with me if I have a specific mission for it. I've already had the DA70 and know I'll carry a short tele with me everywhere I go, if I own it So the FA77 will give me more keepers than the Tammy simply by virtue of being around my neck more often And it doesn't hurt one bit that it's the Holy Grail of Pentax lenses!

Alright, I've got about 3 people in PM limbo

*waits for one of ya'll to come out of the woodwork*

Alas! Everyone must have taken off for the weekend See this lens? *point point* It awaits you! Can't you hear it calling?

ETA: I may be putting my DA15 Ltd., DA(L) 35 2.4 and K-x on the block as well. Any one interested?

It did - in the middle of the night Thank you so much for the bump though

I think it only took so long cause of the holiday weekend. Now if someone would just be so kind as to snap up my K-x, all my new gear would be paid for
