Nice MES with fun 50mm lens and a Kitstar zoom.
The MES has been checked for the common MES problems. The winder tab is intact, the release cycle completes, and it has never auto-released on me. The meter LED works fine too. I've shot film in normal conditions and found no exposure issues so the meter and shutter appear to operate fully. This is a solid camera at a low price. Includes the bottom half of a form-fitted case. Small, light, highly functional.
The Pentax-M 50/2.0 is a basic lens with sweet attributes. It provides a bright image for easy focusing, offers good quality wide open and stops down to provide fine images. Nice colors and good feel.
The Kitstar zoom is also included. I'll keep it myself for a $1 disposal fee. The vertical configuration is stable for large stacks of paper, don't use the horizontal configuration because it may roll away. The zippered case would work just fine for a similar sized lens too.
I've seen the M50/2 sell for $35, so I consider this kit a bargain.
