So, I hope it will go to someone who will appreciate it more than I do. It was sold to me as new, and I find no signs of use and have only had it out of the package once to photograph it and take some test shots. Since I can't 100% verify that it wasn't used before I bought it, I'm listing it as mint instead of new. This lens really takes lovely photos, and the SDM works flawlessly.
