[SOLD] Tamron 300mm f2.8 (65B) (Worldwide) Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Tamron 300mm f2.8 (65B)

Asking Price

Item Location
Tarragona Spain

Item Description
It has cosmetic paint scratches, and the lube of the outofocus ring seems that harden due to lack of use. I am using it like that and focus well, the only problem is that is not fast to use. Tamron told me that has to be relubed and will work fantastic again, I never had the time to do it. I sell it with the Pentax converter and his mounted filter and box. It has also some cleaning marks in the front glass, very hard to notice. Pictures are fantastic with this lense taking in account that is a total manual lense.

the pix do indeed look like an adaptall 300/2.8, but i believe model # 65B is the 400/4. i think you meant 60B.

BUT, if you do have a 400/4, and your asking price is 300 US dollars i'd definitely be interested...

I've the 360B version. Not sure what the differences are, but if the 60B is anything close to it, it's a fantastic lens. Almost brutally heavy, but a very good lens nonetheless.

The 360B added a floating focus element that improved the edge sharpness at close focusing distances and a different hood design. Both have two LD elements which was a major improvement over the earlier 107B.

IME there's no practical difference between the two versions for medium to long range use and the 300's a heavy bear to use for close-up shots anyway.

I used to rent one of these, way back in the day. Amazing lens for this price. The 1.4 BBAR adaptall TC really worked well with this lens, too!
