FS: K110D, Tokina 28-80 ATX Pro 2.8, K100 Battery Grip

I have decided to sell a bunch of my gear and upgrade to a K10d. Everything for sale is in awesome condition with no flaws.

K110D - About 3/4 of a year old, cleaned constantly, nothing wrong with it at all, has been a great camera but it's now time to upgrade $250

Tokina 28-80mm ATX Pro f2.8 - This lens I'm in love with, but unfortunatly I have decided that I will need the money as well if I want to upgrade. Constant 2.8 aperature throughout the whole zoom range. Full metal body, awesome durability, glass is spotless. Super sharp images, a truely amazing lens. As sharp, if not sharper then the Tamron. $300

Rare Ownuser Battery grip for the K110/100D - Bought of this forum about 5 months ago, was brand new at the time. Holds 12 aa battery's, can also hold CR3's I belive as well. Two shutter buttons, awesome rare grip, perfect for anyone wanting more battery power, can include some aa's as well. - $100

Unfortunatly, I only have the box for the battery grip up here. The boxes for the camera and the lens are back home, I'm up at school, but am getting them shipped up here, so the buyer can either wait, or I can ship out the product, and then the boxes after. Pictures avaiable upon request. Thanks,

Kyle McDougall

I'd love to be able to buy a K110D from the forum. But I think yours might be a little over priced... I don't mean to offend you, but I've noticed that looking at ebay, I could get a K110D and the kit lens new for about $275.

Don't get me wrong, this makes me sad because I have a K110D too But it also seems good because I want to get my dad one for Christmas and anything I can save really counts.

Hm. I was looking earlier and saw a kit end a couple days ago for right around $300.

There are also a couple of K100D's here for $300 body only, so $250 is probably a better pricing point for you.

I may be getting to you soon about buying it. I have one myself but may get one for my dad for Christmas. It'd be great to have the same camera and share lenses.

Amazing the number of price policemen prowling this group.

If you don't like somebody's price please send him a private message.

What do you think would happen if you stood at Walmart's door and started warning customers that Target had a better price on tires?

That depends if you're on their grounds and citing a specific competitor they can stop you, but if you go around telling people they can get better prices elsewhere they can't do anything.

Private messages don't help, a seller basically has the right to set his own price. The communication and information exchange over prices should be between buyers. but on internet market places that's not possible, and on this forum even against the rules. That's why you sometimes see such inflated prices here and on ebay. These e-markets are stacked against the buyer. If buyers were allowed to discuss prices in these threads you'd see better market operation.

anyway the items here are pretty cool, and imo priced very fairly

I believe that it is also in the rules that pricing comments be made via PM.

Marketplace Regulations
If a thread is closed, the item listed is no longer available (or no longer being looked for)
An asking price or price range must be posted (you may ask for a best offer in addition to your stated price, however)
False promotional information within item listings is not tolerated and will be removed upon discovery
You may only place links to your own eBay auctions after the auctioned item has been listed in the Marketplace for at least one week
You may not post links to others' eBay auctions
Only photography equipment may be sold in this section

Do not publicly comment on others' asking prices

Only definitive "for sale" or "for trade" threads are allowed; no "feelers" or "would anyone be interesed" threads
Please acquaint yourself with the excerpt from the official forum rules below for specifics on the Marketplace section

I wasn't trying to price police, I was partly trying to negotiate.
