Item Description

UPDATE: There are 3 people in line for this lens, the first person will not be completing the transaction for another few weeks which gives me time to play with the lens more also before letting it go. if you want to be added to the list you can pm me. however as soon as i know (2-3weeks) whether the first is still interested then i will lets those on the list know. (keep in mind and heaven forbid but lots can happen in 3 weeks and though i don't want anything bad to happen to anyone there is always to possibility of a major expense popping up for anyone at anytime. so just because you're not first doesn't mean its the end of the world... but don't hold your breath either.

UPDATE 2: SOLD!

Pentax F*600mm F4 ED IF, Yes the pinnacle of the Pentax autofocus line-up, there is no longer/faster or better lens then this. It has a 2 segment hood that extends out 25-27cm, it has a focus clutch and an infinity variable focus limiter, it has a drop in filter and a 15cm wide front filter (designed for the lens) and of course it has the heavy duty tripod mount. It has some marks on the top and some paint off, however mechanically its 100% and optically its even better then any other lens i've seen or used, sharp as hell! even at F4

What i'd prefer to do is trade this lens for the Sigma 500mm F4.5 EX DG even or near even, If the 500/4.5 has a Canadian warranty that would be better.

If i can't find a trade or someone really wants the lens but doesn't have the 500/4.5, The lowest i could go for selling the 600/4 is $6500+shipping to allow me to cover the cost of the 500/4.5 (in Canada) however a smart person may consider picking up the 500/4.5 cheaper in the US and trading the only negative for me in that regard is only a 1 year international warranty ... hmmm... unless i send it back to the states for service but then that might cost more for shipping then the standard service charge on the lens locally.

Anyhow, you've got the story, you know what i want, if you're interested then contact me, I still want to use this 600/4 for a few weeks so i'm in no rush but wouldn't might getting potential deals/buyers lined up.

PM me your offers and considerations

Thanks

Where I'm kicking myself would be considered a 'non work safe photo' that's for sure. And I think that those photos might come under the 'personal abuse category'!!

Late to the party, sorry, what is the back story on the lens?

Also, why is there a "j/k" (just kidding?) attached to the sale title, is this a real sale?
