Item for Sale
FS: K20D, Grip, DA*16-50, DA*50-135

Asking Price
Sale Pending $1600.00

Item Location
No Carolina (United States)

Item Description
I'm selling my K20D kit and would like to see it go to a fellow forum member. I prefer to sell the kit to a ConUS buyer and won't sell parts until I'm tired of waiting for a preferred buyer...which won't be more than a couple of days probably.
I'll make nice deals with established members and will even consider PayPal, but prefer bank transfer, postal MO or personal check.
Prices do not include shipping or any fees related to payment.

Kit price $1600 ($1775 separately) no PayPal!

All parts of this kit are clean, guaranteed fully functional and as described below. They all are Ex. condition with no major scratches, scuffs or dents and include original box and accessories.

K20D with @10K clicks - $350
The camera has been great, it's got a Giottos glass protector on the rear LCD, the Pentax O-ME53 magnifying eyepiece and also includes 2 Chinese split-image focusing screens. It's at our local shop for CLA and installation of the original focus screen.

Pentax D-BG2 grip - $75
Including a Pentax remote control and extra battery.

DA* 16-50/2.8 - $600
Purchased from Amazon 07/2008, no SDM issues! Great lens

DA* 50-135/2.8 - $750
Purchased from B&H 12/2009, no SDM issues! Xtra great lens.

All the gear in my sig is FS.
Prices are firm. PM if interested.

Thanks for looking.

Is there any issues with the 2 Chinese screens? Is there a reason to replace to the original, instead of leaving the split prism focus screen on?

I'm interested in the K20D body. As the other member asked, are the focusing screens adequate and in good shape (why changed)?.

Please let me know if the camera is still available. Thanks.

Hello and thanks for your interest.

I edited my add for clarity about my buyer preference. And since my preference is too sell the kit for my asking price to a buyer in the ConUS, the first one to meet those preferences gets the gear.
If within a couple of days I don't get a buyer for the kit, I'll sell the parts separately and reply to PMs in the order I received them.

To answer the question about the Chinese focus screens, both of them have the very common fault of minor defects in the microprism/split-image engraving. I have found that the defects don't affect my photography, but they are slightly irritating.
The screen I've been using has a diagonal split-image and brightness is equal to the original screen, but the microprism collar and split image circle make using MF lenses much easier.
The reason I'm having the original screen re-installed is that I've noticed some minor back focus with MF lenses recently and I want to return the camera to original condition. Since I'm trying to sell as a kit with DA* lenses I thought the AF screen would be preferred.
