Item Description
For sale is a SMC Pentax-A 28-80mm Zoom. This is the SMC version, not the Takumar-A version. The lens is in good overall condition with a few marks here and there on the body. The glass is in good shape with only a few extremely tiny marks (the size of a speck of dust), certainly nothing that would affect IQ at all. The aperture is quick and the focus ring smooth (perhaps too smooth, it's not particularly well damped, but from what I've read that's more a function of the lens than this copy). It comes with caps, although not original ones. Anyway, certainly not the greatest lens in the world, nor the worst either
