It comes with both caps and a hard leather case (also in excellent condition) and three filters (clear, ND2, ND4) which are stored in a hidden compartment in the top of the lens case. This lens gives you a lot of reach in a small package. However, I will say that if you are expecting pixel perfect sharp shots at 500mm with this lens (especially handheld) you will be disappointed. The IQ is ok, but certainly this is a case where you get what you pay for (in terms of both size and cost). Just wanted to throw that out there, not as a knock on this particular copy of the lens, but just as a general comment about inexpensive 500mm f/8 mirror lenses    Are you the original owner of the item being sold? The mirror lens club has many fine examples of images made with mirror lenses, so I don't know if it is necessary to slander the entire genre.  Was yours "Made in Korea"? |
