I have 6 of these badboys in stock and ready to ship. They are brand new and in the box. Come with the warranty card, manual, hood, caps and everything else in the box.

Already got mine!!! Loving it already!!!!!!!!! HSM focusing is the shiznit!!! Now, there's nothing that Cannon/Nikon has over me!!!

Glad you like it. I have one for myself and it is far superior to the Kit lens...HSM + OS = sweetness.

5 out of my original 10 of these remain.

so HSM is pretty much the same as SDM from pentax? and how does the OS work with the camera's built-in Shake reduction in a K-x ?

It's one or the other. You need to turn off the SR on the K-x if you want to use the optical stabilization of the lens.

Well, your right to a point.........you can use them together, but only if you want totally blurred pics!!!!! Found that out today by accident.........kept wondering why none of my photos were in focus, when yesterday's were fine.......gee, could be cause I had both image stabilization features on???..........Yep!!!.......LOL!!!

If both left on, the in-camera SR will constantly try to compensate for the lens' OS movement and cause out of focus pics.
