Item Description
Up for sale or trade is very nice S-M-C Takumar 85/1.8 with original lens hood and both caps (rear cap is not original).
Glass is clean, mechanics is in perfect order. Focusing and aperture are going smooth, aperture is clean (no oil on the blades).
On the body are marks of normal use.

I want to sell this lens for indicated price, or trade it for other lens. For exaple the C/Y Zeiss Sonnar 100mm f/3.5

EDIT to add - the images have been re-sized after upload and the sharpening gets slightly messed up in the process - so it seems to me. You do not have to worry about sharpness with this lens, trust me

I just cant understand why your selling it?
Out of all my lenses this is my most valued and used.

Yes, the S-M-C Tak is great lens, but I just happen to have the K 85/1.8 and A 85/1.4 as well and in the screw mount I am keeping the 83/1.9. All of those lenses can do the same job perfectly, yet they are different. I find the S-M-C Tak to be least attractive out of the bunch (I do not mean image-wise, where it is more or less identical to the K 85/1.8).

Aah. I see.
Makes sense selling one of them at least but I think I would have sold the K version instead.
I placed a m42 to PK adapter permanently on mine and it works perfect in AV mode.
