If you look close enough you might be able to find some dust in this lens but I just had a pretty good look and I did not see any. It has never given me any trouble at all. I am the original owner. I can't seem to find a pentax rear lens cap in my house right now so it has a tamron cap. The front cap is the original Pentax cap       Are you the original owner of the item being sold?
