SMC Pentax 400mm f5.6 lens $250
Glass and aperture look good; body and mount show signs of normal use. Very small amount of dust inside the lens. The focus seemed a bit stiff at first, but I didn't mind it after getting used to it. Includes front and rear caps.

I have a more beat-up copy of this lens. You can get surprisingly good results with it - it's okay at f/5.6, and gets quite sharp and nicely contrasty as you stop it down. It has that M quality. What really makes it a winner is, because it's not very heavy, you can hand-hold it and still get very good pictures.

Thanks for the positive comments. I found it worked quite nicely with the SR and focus trap of my K-5, and I got quite a few decent shots with it. I just haven't been using it much lately since I got a Sigma 150-500. I found the focus ring a bit stiff compared to the A*300/4 lens that I had, but I've never tried another one of these lenses and therefore don't know if that is just a characteristic of these lenses. It didn't take me long to get used to the focusing, and I ended up quite liking it.
