Item Description
This was my second lens for my first DSLR the K10d. I bought this new (for a high price actually) in 2008 when I knew little about the mysteries of LBA or frankly the Pentax line of lenses. There is nothing wrong with this lens and it's seen little use by me since 2008. Mostly because I went on a long zoom quest which had me buying the FAJ 75-300 and the finally the DA 55-300. This is a nice Tamron plastic lens. It's not a super fast zoom. I judge it's image quality to be good but not excellent. This is a cheaper lens. As it is a film lens, it's good on either a film body or dslr. It calls itself a macro lens, and what they really mean is that you can get a bit closer to things but this is no macro. I am including a UV filter with it and a nice soft lens bag (that alone is $16). Not shown is the original instructions that came with it.
So do you want a nice starter long zoom, or a good AF lens for your film camera? This might be the one for you.
