Wanted - Acquired: Repair/Parts Pentax MX

I am looking for a Pentax MX for parts. My beloved MX is having some mirror problems and my shop can't find the parts from their normal sources. So I was hoping that someone had broken MX lying around that they were willing to part with for about $20+shipping. If you had another number in mind, let me know and we can negotiate.

I have a broken MX but some parts were stripped. Do you know which part you need exactly?

Wlachan,

I spoke to the repair shop and he said that the issue is with the mirror box. So if the mirror box on your MX is still functional and not pillaged, please let me know.

I just took a quick look and unfortunately the mirror box is incomplete.

i have an MX i've been meaning to send to Eric for repair/CLA I could part with (I have way too many film bodies anyway). AFAIK the only issue aside from needing seals is the rewind knob needs replacing - Mirror box looked ok last time i looked. PM me and i'll send you my cell number since you are only over in Hamilton. I'd let it go for $20 and you could save shipping by picking it up next time your in Toronto
