Konica Hexar AF - $425 (reduced)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Konica Hexar AF

Asking Price
$425.00

Item Location
Santa Fe, NM (United States)

Item Description
Hello everyone,

For sale is a black Konica Hexar AF camera in very good condition.

Cosmetically it has a little wear on the bottom plate, a few small scratches to the top plate, and a couple little scratches to the LCD window. There is one hairline scratch on the front element toward the top edge of the glass. No effect on IQ, as you'd imagine. I don't have a lens cap for it, but I'll package it to ensure nothing harms the glass.

Mechanically, it's perfect. Silent mode can be engaged, there are no light leaks, aperture stops down correctly, and the included battery still works. I ran a roll (crappy expired Fuji Superia and a Sam's Club scan) through it this spring, and you can see the results here: Konica Hexar AF - deadwolfbones' Photos

Asking $425 in the US, including PP fees and USPS Priority insured shipping. Open to WW shipping, but prefer USA.

Also open to a trade for a Nikon F100 in EX condition, plus cash. PM me to discuss.

PHOTOS:

Here are the photos:

Detail of the scratch on the front glass. The macro lens I used for this shot picked up some smaller micro-scratches I hadn't noticed before. But anyway, no effect on IQ.

For the uninitiated this amazing camera could make you want to give up your SLRs entirely.
In stealth mode it is probably the quietest film camera ever made.
The 35mm f/2.0 lens is fabulous, often compared to Leica lenses costing many times more.
Shoot it fully automated like a point & shoot, or with as much manual control as you like.
Results are outstanding either way. Terrific for existing light photography.
Incredible fully automated fill-flash ability using tiny inexpensive dedicated flash unit.

I would want AF (not RF), but am looking for a fine copy which has not been woman-handled.

Yes. Many other options can be programmed as well.
