Wide-angle lenses

Go wide! It's a widetastic wideapalooza!

Pentax DA 12-24mm f/4 ED AL (IF) -- $640 *****SOLD*****
Sigma 24mm f/2.8 Super-Wide II (manual focus) -- $130 ******SOLD******
Tokina 17mm f/3.5 RMC -- $165 *****SOLD*****

Vivitar 19mm f/3.8 -- withdrawn -- gone to ebay

Payment is to be via PayPal, and PayPal fees are included in the prices (in other words, I pay them). Items must be shipped to address associated with the PayPal account.
Shipping prices are for CONUS only. Alaska & Hawaii would be a few bucks more (maybe), and outside U.S. would be considerably more (will be sent tracked & insured with honest customs forms), so inquire about that if you're interested.

Please ignore the micro dust and reflections in the pictures. I will point out any actual flaws. All of these are mechanically and optically perfect except as otherwise noted, and all will work with no trouble on your Pentax DSLR with the usual considerations for some of the older lenses (Tokina has no 'A' setting, the Takumar will need a screw-mount adapter, and all are manual focus except for the DA 12-24). I don't comment too much on performance and specs as the info is readily available in the review section (I believe all of these are in there) and elsewhere on the internet.

Any questions please PM.

If you happen to be in the Denver area, you are welcome to come over and inspect the merchandise in person (and pay cash).

Only one left!

Vivitar 19mm f/3.8 --
$110 + $11 shipping

Manual focus w/ 'A' aperture setting. Again, forgot to get a picture of the barrel at the other end, but focuses down to about 5 inches from the end of the barrel.

This is the only lens of the bunch with imperfect glass, although nothing that actually has an effect on IQ. But it does have a few very fine (near microscopic) scratches on the front element and several specks/marks in the coating, also on front element near the edge. In the first head-on picture below, a few of the specks you see near the "62mm" text are not external dust, but marks on the coating -- the rest of the stuff you see if just surface dust. Ignore it. There is no internal dust that I can see, and the rear element looks fine. (You might also be wondering about what looks like a ring of speckles in the center -- that is not on the glass but a reflection from the lens non-glass inner surfaces, which has a "glittery" texture.)

Actually, I'm a bit suspicious in general about the coating on this lens. As you can see, it is marked "MC" (multi-coated) and it does have that purplish tinge that any good coating has. But instead of it being a uniform color, in the right light the coating looks more like an oil slick in water with purple and yellow mixed together. Maybe it is too thin or someone went a little crazy cleaning it. And I have noticed that this lens is more prone to side and indirect lighting killing the contrast than you would expect from a multi-coated lens, even a wide one. This is easily remedied with a hood, and this lens does produce fine images. But I would say that maybe the MC isn't that great, and that a hood is a must (62mm threads). Unfortunately, I do not have a hood to provide. So for these reasons, I'm asking somewhat less than it usually goes for. (In great shape you see this one going for about $160-$180.)

Comes with a generic rear cap and a screw-on metal front cap. (It came to me with no caps.)

There are a couple tiny nicks in the barrel, which you can also see below with exposed silver metal -- on the outer ring just above "19mm" and another one above "3.8". Also some very minor wear to aperture ring.

Screw-on metal cap:

That's it!
