The flash was purchased new, by me, and it is in excellent condition. I have had it for about 2 years now, and I just don't seem to use it very much. Most of my photography seems to center around my kids' sports activities these days, and all of that stuff is outdoors or beyond flash range. Anyway, the flash is lightly used and has been well cared for. I think you would be hard-pressed to tell it from new. The purchase will include the original box and manual. A few months ago, I became aware that a new firmware had been released for the 48 AF-1, so I flashed it up to the latest version. If this is your first flash purchase, I highly recommend this excellent article by forum member mattdm, which discusses all the flash options available for Pentax users. I found it highly informative, and it helped me decide on my purchase of the 48 AF-1. Price is $165.00 shipped and PayPal gift-ed.
