[SOLD] Fs: K10d + Fa77 + Fa43 + Af-540

It was a difficult decision, but I've decided to sell my K10D & FA Limiteds. I'm also selling an AF-540 flash. All products are in mint condition with no blemishes or defects of any kind. Please check my feedback here and under "kavio" on eBay.

PENTAX K10D w/ Wireless-F remote control - $435 SOLD
- purchased from Amazon.com on 7/29/07

Pentax FA 43mm f/1.9 - $330 SOLD
- purchased from Amazon.com on 8/30/07

Pentax FA 77m f/1.8 - $530 SOLD
- purchased from Abe's of Maine on 8/9/07

Pentax AF-540 - $280 SOLD
- purchased from BuyDig.com on 9/29/07

I prefer to sell the package together, but I will sell items individually. Shipping via USPS Priority Mail will be calculated depending on your location. I am willing to ship worldwide. However, please note that I will not be responsible for any duties or fees levied by customs in your country. (I'm happy to write "GIFT" or "REPAIR" on the package, but will make no guarantees.)

NOTE: I will only accept Google Checkout for this sale. I have an ongoing disagreement with Paypal and am not using them any longer. It's very easy to sign up for Google Checkout, and obviously they're a big, reputable company so it's very safe. http://checkout.google.com

Also, I will be out-of-town until 12/27 for the holidays, so I won't be able to ship items until then.

Well, I found a deal on a 5D that I couldn't pass up.

The K10D is an absolutely fantastic camera, and I'm still not sure whether I'm making the right decision giving it up. But my needs have changed so much and they're so specific now that the 5D just seems like a better fit.

Yep, if you're doing a lot of low-light portraits w/o flash, the 5D is a great choice (and you can get a major droolage 85/1.2 lens ;-). It'll lock AF easily and won't have weird VPN issues. Don't use the fleabay triggers with it though...they'll cause noise in some cmos sensors. See ya on on the Strobist forums...

The Limiteds are black. The 77 is still available, and the 43 is gone.

Ha. It will be a long time before I can afford a $1600 lens. Frankly, I'm pretty blown away by the results of the 85/1.8, 100/2 & 135/2 on a 5D. I just don't know if the 85/1.2 is worth 4x the price of the 85/1.8 for what I shoot. Nevertheless, nice to know it's there.

Nope. If I don't get my asking price here it's going up on eBay. My experience is that Pentax gear sells for higher prices on eBay than it does here (probably because of the much larger audience). I post here to start with because it's less of a hassle, and I like this community. But I believe $280 is more than a fair price for a practically new 540 so I'm not really interested in bargaining.

Thanks for your interest nonetheless.
