Plaubel Makina 67

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Plaubel Makina 67

Asking Price
1400 USD, or 900 GBP

Item Location
Near Cambridge (UK)

Item Description
Plaubel Makina 67 w/ Nikkor 2.8/80mm 900, $1400

Due to unforeseen additional costs in the renovation of our home, I am forced to sell some of my gear. All these items are in excellent condition.

The Plaubel Makina 67 hardly needs any introduction: it is the most compact 67 system ever made, fabulously beautiful, and produces fantastic pictures. The Nikkor is very sharp, very usable even wide open (2.8!), and has a beautiful bokeh to boot. It is an unbeatable package. I will curse this day, but it will have to go.
Everything works as it should: the meter operates, the viewfinder and focusing, the manual filmwinder, there are no leaks in the folder, the glass has no scratches or fungus or haze. It comes with the original Plaubel lens hood.
The price is not negotiable. Insured shipment only (or collection in person).

Perhaps not the right location for the Makina here? On the other hand, I may have to change the ad, if I can manage to balance my funds without selling, I will.

I'm sure it's OK. *drooling.* I'm sure we'll all understand if that Plaubel's hard to let go of.

OK, after trying to hold on to it, too many bills flood the doormat. So the Plaubel is now definitely for sale. I will list Pentax lenses separately.

That's me indeed. I'm not very familiar with those forums, but it seemed an appropriate place (and so it proved in terms of messages, only for me to try not to sell it).

Making two scans available via dropbox, which are being uploaded right now but may take half a day to be finalised (over 700Mb). The links are http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13652509/F-_45.tif and http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13652509/Plaubel_51.tif
Mind, my scanning is still below par (the scanner was in storage for a year after I had just got it). The files are huge, probably unnecessarily so. Hopefully it does give an idea. On film it is great.
