dieda, can I give you a lens? I know it isn't much, but I have an extra 18-55 WR that I haven't gotten around to selling, but if you had all that stolen, it would be better than trying to make $150 off it, and it should at the very least replace a lot of your lost focal ranges of shooting. I live in Germany.

Wow, you are very generous!

I got myself in the meantime a used cheap Pentax A 35-105 f/1:3.5 for a walk-around lens it is not AF but very decent image quality, so for the time being I have something to shoot with and your lens may find someone more in need. Your intention really means a lot to me, and I hope you will get something like that back when you are to receive.

I can't say I know what it is like to have all of my camera gear stolen (and I hope I never have to learn), but it would have been a much better use than the dust catcher it's been employed at recently lol. But seriously, what do we really have if not the ability to help each other?

Best of luck in replacing a really remarkable kit. I personally do not, but maybe someone else knows how to submit lost equipment serial numbers to reselling communities, i.e. eBay, Amazon, and they can check to see if they match their "new listings" serial numbers. Again, best of luck, and Happy New Year.

Came across this recent posting about a new tool to find images based on the serial no. of the camera. Seems to still be a work in progress, with an expanding database, but looks like a great idea - finding images may help to find someone using a stolen camera. It's also able to find images that are used illegally. Metadata needs to be present, of course.
The URL is CameraTrace: Camera Registration & Recovery by GadgetTrak, if the link is removed (not sure what the policies are), look up cameratrace.

I also found it and submitted my serials. But it does not even find my 1000+ images with EXIF on the web. So the idea is perfect, it should be done on larger scales, but yet it rarely succeeds.

I suggest using the serial number database here on the forums to list your gear as having been stolen, possibly with a way to contact you and some reward terms if it is 'found'.

I have listed them already but reward is a good idea, I will edit those entries to add.
