Have you heard of the Sony F717 and the crazy infrared/X-Ray stuff possible with it's "Night Shot" feature? It is one of the reasons that this camera is STILL highly sought after. The other reason might be its SUPERB Zeiss optics.

When this camera was purchased, it had the sensor problem that many of these cameras was famous for. So famous, in fact, that Sony offered a free sensor replacement service for many years. I sent mine in and, for the cost of postage, received back a refurbished F717 with a brand new sensor unit.

This camera comes with Sony memory stick, form-fitting protective camera case, replacement rechargable battery & charger, and twin polarizer filters (for use when shooting infrared). The polarizer filters are worth around $40 by themselves.

I will probably regret selling this, but I just have too many cameras and interests.

There seems to be some confusion on the price.
It was originally priced at $199 and has been slashed to the current price of $150.
