Yes its is still available, it does have the Ricoh pin, it doesn't get stuck on my K-x and its got a 52mm thread.

I was just playing with the Vivitar 24mm F2.8 and Pentax 1.7x AFA TC... at its closest focusing distance with the TC you can get a bit better then 1:2 macro. I wouldn't recommend is as a dedicated macro option but it was interesting
