Hello Friends:
I have a Yashica m42 film camera body and two lens that want to get rid of. I want $20 shipped or pick up for $0.0 in San Jose area CA. The lenses will require a handy person to open them up and clean them thoroughly to make them fully functional. Optically they are fine. Yes it will be free if you can pick up in San Jose.
Things included:
1. Yashica M42 camera body. Old but everything works even the light meter. There are some dirty dusts build up around back cover sealing which most likely
will not cause light leak. Haven't try any film with it.
2. Yashinon DS-M 50mm F1.7 lens. Aperture stucked. Lens seems fine. No fungus etc.
3. Yashikor 28mm f2.8 lens. Aperture not working fully(oil). You need several try to make it fully open. The clicking ball bearing fell into the inside of the lens(you'll find it when you take the lens group out one by one) when I tried to block the aperture pin. The glass has a small scar on the rear element. I used this lens a lot with an adapter on my K7 and Kx. Most of the pictures are taken with this lens in Av mode.
4. A bulk film splitter if you still shoot black and white film.
5. Misc. accessories.

I have a m42 adapter ring that I can spare for $5.00. Note, this one is looser so it is suitable to be used to mount on the DSLR body and then screw the m42 lenses on. You will need to file off the supplied screw a little to avoid it to scratch the thread of m42 lens. This product was from rainbow image at amazon.com. Note again, 3rd party ring will not operate as smooth as genuine pentax adapter but it works. You need to be patient and a quite work area.
