2 Vivitar lens : 24mm f/2.8 and 135mm f/2.5

Hi !

I'm selling two Vivitar lenses, in tx mount. There is one tx to m42 adapter included as well. Because I only have one TX adapter, I'm thinking it would either be better to sell one without the adapter to someone that already has one or to sell both lenses together.

Basically, if you have a TX adapter already, you can purchase any of the two lens, but if you would like the adapter, I would prefer you purchase both lenses as I don't want to have a lens without a mount. That situation may change if someone purchase a lens without the adapter, off course.

PM me if interested.

Both lenses are in good condition. Some scratches on the body, but optically, it's all perfect. A few particule of dusts, aperture blades are snappy.

Price: 80USD for both lenses, including the tx to m42 adapter and including shipping to Canada and the US.

Paypal : add 4%.
I also accept interact money transfer within Canada.

1- Vivitar 24mm 2.8, serial 37504572. According to the serial number, it was made by Tokina. All metal buid. I think it might be a little rare since I couldn't find much information on it, it's not in the database either. I got the lens as part of a package.
Eight aperture blades, they all click perfectly. They click at full stop.

2- Vivitar 135mm f/2.5. Serial number : 37512662, I think it is also made by Tokina. All metal built, built it lens hood.

Items can be return if not as described.

Here a a few sample shots I took with the vivitar 24mm.

at f/2.8, straight out jpeg from K-x, handheld, nothing whatsoever was done to the picture.

Full size image here (download button, top left)

at f/4

at f/2.8

For the pictures of the box, I tried to be as perpendicular as possible to keep everything within the plane of focus, but there was no tripod nor ruler or anything... so it's probably not perfect but still... Center sharpness is very good, the extreme bottom right corner is not all that good, and the other corners are ok.

Bokeh is pleasing (well... my subjects' background were not but anyway...)

Not entirely related but kinda sorta-

Where did you get the precision screwdrivers? I've been looking for a kit like that for a while, with no luck!

Nice product shot too

Ok! That is funny. Thank you for the compliment.
I bought mine at radioshack / the source in Canada! You might wanna have a look at amazon.com and newegg.com, you might find something you like!

Thanks! I'll look next time I'm in Longueuil... I've searched the internet for a while, but I really want to hold them before I buy them... call me old fashioned I guess!
