This TC works well on both AF and MF lenses, and it can convert an MF lens to an AF one if the max aperture is fast enough. I've tested on F4 lenses w/o any problem, and the AF worked even w/ a F5.6 lens under good light condition.

Another good thing about this TC is that the camera will show adjusted aperture value when this TC is attached (w/ 1.5 stops considered), while it's not the case for most other TCs on our Pentax cameras

The following photos were taken by an 1.7x AF TC attached to an FA200/2.8 lens:

Water spray.

I'm more amused by the turning MF lenses into AF.

Yes, the making MF to AF is an incredibly interesting prospect. Drooool.

1. How do you get that it is waterspray?
2. Why is this amusing?

Did I miss the point in your reply!!!

The "waterspray" are the droplets of water that are kicked up into the air by the running player.

As to #2, I'm not sure either

Just as some already said above, those are some water spray due to the fast action. It rained right before the game, actually it was even raining sometimes during the game, The ground was wet.

Here is another one from the same game with the same setup:

Yes, this TC can convert a fast MF lens (tested even an F4.5 lens would work, although the manual says F2.8 lens) to an AF one. The glass elements in this TC can move back and forth to do the focusing. AF is pretty fast too, probably due to the short travel distance.

Of course it works great with AF lenses too

And it also works with screwmount lenses by doing an easy trick
