A nice cheap way to do macro. Can focus down to 1:2 (on film), no limiter or clamp.

Lens body is in very good condition, glass is in excellent condition. Functions perfectly and focuses smoothly.

oh i used to have 1 of these but in different brand name, very sharp lens just like any macro, does it come with a diopter?

if by diopter you mean close-up filters, no, i dont own any such filters.

Here are some test shots taken with the k10d, so the resolution is not that high.

Full size shot of a quarter. I may have been able to get a bit closer, but this is close to the max. I never knew quarters were so intricate...

Pretty fast, for a macro. The lens is very light, so the motor drives the focus very quickly. There is no limiter, so it sometimes has to go a long way to focus, which does slow it down.

It focuses faster than the FA 100mm 2.8, which is also much bigger and much heavier.
