I am selling two of my favorite lenses. I do not use them enough to justify keeping them while bills pile up.


1. Pentax FA 50mm 1.7 in Excellent condition. This is a highly sough version of the 50mm lenses. The glass is clean, free of scratches of fungus. The blades are snappy and free of oil. It comes with original rear cap. No front cap is included, but aUV/Haze filter will be attached for transit. I have the FA 35mm f/2 and the 50mm is a little longer for my needs (indoors). 2. Pentax FA 50mm 2.8 Macro in Very Good condition. This is one of the sharpest lenses that Pentax ever made. The glass is clean, free of scratches of fungus. The blades are snappy and free of oil. Some wear marks in the barrel, but nothing that affect the lens functionality. It comes with original rear cap and aftermarket pinch-in 52mm cap. I do not do much Macro theses days due to my poor eyesight, so this lens just sits there in the closet. Asking $340 + $8.95 Shipping CONUS.

No there are not the same lens. The D FA 50MM F2.8 macro lens is newer, light weight, but it does not have the reputation that the FA 50mm 2.8 macro has (One of the sharped lens made by Pentax).
SMC Pentax-D FA lenses have fixed focal lengths and are optimized for use with both Pentax Film & Digital SLRs. They cover the full-frame 24x36mm image circle.
